For convenience, both options utilize the same API specification. This means the same code written for the SaaS API works against the self-hosted container API. The only difference is changing the hostname from our API server to yours.
This makes for a seamless transition between SaaS and self-hosted integrations.

With self-hosted containers, it becomes possible to create an air-gapped architecture featuring Hotpot functionality, guaranteeing that company data never touches a vendor's system or is exposed to the outside world.

Because of the price and commmitment, we do not recommend self-hosted containers for startups or small organizations.
